I was asked to put up information on the Kanashi clan and my characters, So I thought to do it here.

The Kanashi clan, is a village in it's own. Not exactly liked by others either. They take care of themselves and no one else. Outsiders are shunned and even killed, enless they marry into the clan. However on the outside they seem mysterious keeping to themselves not venturing out for much. Which is the same on the inside. Once your a member, you couldn't have hoped for a better and stranger life.

Unlike how barbaric they are to outsiders they are serene and loving to those inside the circle. However what really makes the clan stand out is they're tattoos. Their passion for the arts burns brighter then any other. They do not just paint on animals. They paint on their housing, clothes, faces, and weapons. It's their religion. Painting is like making a sacrifice to the gods. The more beautiful the artwork the better the gift to the Lord. Thus their talent was reknown but it barely ever left the village. Each member of the clan carried a bow crafted by themselves. As a symbol that they are now a fighter and adult.

Each year they hold a battle between warriors. They fight to the death and can use any weapon they choose. It is a celebration for the winner is crowned the King of all warriors and bestowed with honor. The loser's corspes are burned in fire, which in their minds represents hell.

The Kanashi Clan are mortal enemies with the White Tigers. Simaliar in some aspects but nature they are anything but the same.

They have a test for their young. The first test is to fight against an opponnet your age to the death. The loser's body is dumped in a river and carried away, for the body being swept away in water means Angels are carrying you to heaven. The winner gets markings under their eyes. The next test is to make a bow on their own. Then they are required to master using it. Once those tests have been completed and the children turn 12 they are to make a art sacrifice to the gods to show they're loyalty to them. If the painting is not up to their expectations the member will be sent off to fight against the best warrior and it is up to that warrior if the failure lives or dies. The last challenge is optional. It is when the member is ready physically and mentally do they ever attempt to join the warrior battles.

They are also all about Loyalty. Disloyalty means banishment or even being killed.There are certain levels of treason that can earn you one of the other. Minor disloyalty is refusing a direct order banishment is what you get. Killing the Clan leader sentences you to death. Anything besides that will only get you banishment. For they really don't care if you kill lessor members.

If you betray the clan there is no getting back in. They blind fold you and tie you to a stake. Then using a rod that has been sitting in a fire for a few hours burn the traitor mark on your back. The mark of the traitor is a long snake like dragon. This process is taken very slowly so the traitor can suffer.

Any child as Kanashi has had, stays in the village forever enless said otherwise. Bastard children are no different and treated no different. The only children not allowed in the clan and are to be killed and children born with a Kanashi and Byakko which in it'self is very rare since they are mortal enemies. ((The Slaves Character Orien being the only one.))

There is about 200 members in the Kanashi clan. Which is way they form they're own village. Each hut has 5 people sleeping in it. Which is usually one family. All young adults wanting they're own house have to share one with another they're age till they get a family of they're own.

Marrige is an important ceramony to them. The couple each paint a symbol on eachother's foreheads of what animal they think represent eachother, their familes go out for a hunt together and the men have a friendly battle. ((The battle is mandatory for all boys at the age of 15, but it is not a death match nor a violent one.)) The whole village gathers together for a feast, and their are competions with the clan's dogs. Races, fights, and other things they do with they're canines.

The Kanashi clan have their own fighting style. It is a mix of martial arts and sword play. They're movements vary depending on the level the warrior is trained in. Sirius was trained at the highest level and even perfected some of the moves and created his own. The Kanashi fight with twin blades and their feet. Some of the lower class use their fists. Their movements are quick and presise. Due to training with a bow, they're eyesight has been known to be dead on. They are known to go right for the vital points, such has hitting someone right where their kidneys are to cause extreme pain, hitting weak points to break bones, crushing the pipe with a good punch or kick. Mix this in with their skill in weaponry and you've got a deadly warrior. Sirius however has perfected the fighting style making it more unique to him. He has trained his senses to more presice. By blindfolding himself for two years his senses heightened and he now has the same level has a blindman. Sensing people behind him and how and where they are going to strike. Making him the finest warrior and traitor the Kanashi clan has produced.
